PALEOTV

The Brazilian company PaleoTV is an independent producer acting in the cultural area for the past ten years. It develops projects involving films and videos – with emphasis on documentary films – web sites, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, video installations and multimedia shows. PaleoTV is directed by Jurandir Muller and Kiko Goifman. PaleoTV and Plateau Produções are independents Companies that work through partnerships in Brazil and abroad. The sponsoring in Brazil is based on fiscal exemption foreseen in laws for cultural incentive.

PLATEAU PRODUÇÕES

Plateau Produções is a Brazilian production company founded by Roberto Tibiriçá. The company acted as a coproducer of numerous films including “Palavra e Utopia” by Manoel de Oliveira; “Bem-Vindo a São Paulo”, by Leon Cakoff, Amos Gitai, Wolfgang Becker and others.

PaleoTV and Plateau Produções are independent companies that work through partneships in Brazil and abroad. PaleoTV and Plateau produced together the documentary film “33” (2003), which received support from the Hubert Bals Fund and was screened at the IFF. In 2006 Paleo TV and Plateau Produções produced the film “Acts of Men” by Kiko Goifman, which was selected for the Berlin Film Festival 2006 and awarded the best documentary prize in Three Continents Film Festival, Nantes (France).
